Look at the last 6 decades of your life, not your first 3. For much less than the cost of one semester of college, you can use AIs to apply all sciences, make billions and help others. Do not waste decades memorizing and writing papers . Go out, interview leaders and doers, visit real places and do things.
I stopped bottled water (microplastics, trash and cost)
I stopped sugar (lifelong addiction because it is in everything), just threw out what I had.
It only takes intention and is not hard. Reduced my food bill for things I really do not need. Dropped half my food bill, less trash, less time with things that are not good for me any way.
For water, since I cannot stand the taste of Houston water, I put a gallon cold water in the fridge to which I add table spoon of coffee. The bitterness of the coffee covers the chlorine and the low concentration does not upset my stomach. It actually has a slight sweet taste for some reason. I stopped coffee and tea and dairy.
Needless to say no alcohol or soft drinks. No prepared foods. And cereals (lots of sugar). Some breads (sugar). Fresh vegetables, rice, dried beans, potatoes, and lentils. Chicken is 25% added broth, and beef hormone filled and very costly anyways. Easy to drop.
Everything I give up, the flavor and value of what is left is enhanced. I am listen closely to my wants and cravings to see what I might be missing. My taste is much clearer without constant additives and sugar. And hydration much much easier to balance.
Open your Internet first. Evaluate needs, plan design verify do optimize. You need access to the 1 in 100,000 and that means global search and access. And strong character, good records, checks and balances. It it too easy to make money before learning why people make things. Usually everyone has deep feelings for global needs but will not find that until they look hard. Passion is impossible to create, it comes from working together, deep need or sorrow. Go visit people who have almost nothing and see their tools and ideas. Or use the web and visit many countries. Just what comes to mind when I try to visualize your work space, and your impact on the world during your life.
Go further and see that the raw data is scarcer than the data scientists and data engineers. When you add live raw data and archives to an area it fertilizes much new growth. It can be predicted and planned, organized and optimized.
Very effective. Sad that an “advanced” technical society had not overcome petty bureaucracy and human jealousy. But those are just problems easier then quantum transport – if they are met directly. Amoral technology is not truly advanced.

Are you so certain that galactic pride is that immovable? If you are right, it bodes ill for all those who follow. Does sentience always have to include pride? Is pride always going to infect knowledge? Will AIs separate human emotion data and observed survival habits so they are treated as we treat fever (temperature) and infection (organisms) now. When understood, will humans separate from emotions, or at least let the AIs be free of passions that are hurtful anf counter productive in the wrong places and times?

Showing their capabilities demonstrates “these thing are not impossible”, which is valuable to save time searching. They know precisely what was accomplished and how long it took, so they have a a clear objective and operational criteria. Knowing that faster than light travel is possible means no need to hesitate on “is it possible?” but “what do we need to do to meet those operational requirements?” Once you put in the requirements, it greatly narrow the search and objectives and shortens the search time for ever new thing added.

A region could operate as a separate corporate entity – a trust to sustain the region – not owned by any group. Held in trust for the human species. So all humans and related species have some say. the stakes can be traced out with AIs now.

@Venidlara I first started working with the gravitational potential field for tracking all things in orbit about 1970 then later worked on the early NASA geopotential models about 1978. At that time I met Joe Weber at UMD College Park and he urged me to follow Robert Forward’s work “Detecting Dynamic Gravitational Fields”.
So I have been trying to figure out “what is the gravitational potential field” and “how can it be measured and used” for the last 47 years. It led me to measure the speed of gravity with the network of superconducting gravimeters, and decades of tracing out the behavior of the gravitational energy density on close things like the earth and sun and lab.
Time rate variations is only one of many effects of gravitation potential variations, which affect all “quantum” experiments and devices, and many global sensor networks. Gravity effects are small but detectable. Very reliable.
Just because something takes a few decades to work out does not mean you should give up. Maybe AI tools will help one day.

The gravitational potential of the earth has a fairly stable 3D shape but changes with the changing atmospheric shape and velocity and acceleration. So time rate will have first second and higher time derivative, and it is also 3D so it will have spatial gradients and second spatial gradients and higher. But I do not think that is what you are asking. For solid assemblies or any shaped object (including liquids, gases, and plasmas besides many kinds of solids and mixtures) If any assembly has rotation, then its rotational derivatives would be non zero. I think you have something particular in mind and what to look at it gravitation and energy density? Ideally we could have a common canvas we could both write on and let our AIs help to solve problems in detail. So I am not sure what object you want the angular speed and tangential velocities, energies and properties of. And my guess is you are wanting to make something of which angular velocities and accelerations are only a part.

The v is the velocity of the clock. If you are in the earth’s gravity field your clocks (atoms, light, motion) are all slowed down. Not much but it is detectable, and useful if you are studying gravity or astronomy or solar solar system colonization. I memorized and practices and used these kinds of things the last 55 years or so (since 1970) but now I do not try to remember them all exactly. I ask Grok or ChatGPT 4.5 or some other AI or I look for programs and equations and useful things on the Internet in mathematical or computer form. Most anything one might want to do is on the Internet, with varying degrees of difficulty.

When I was about 14 (1963) I took my first chemistry class in high school and was near Cape Canaveral. We were all working hard to get to the moon. And everyone, kids included, studied and learns as much as possible hoping to contribute in some way. Seeing the rockets going up made me want to learn about gravity, chemistry of fuels, nuclear energy and other things.
Using tools is not cheating. Doing things by hand is good for practice, but simply repeating problems again and again — using tools and computers and AIs give you experiences which change you and give you skills that never leave you. The brain remembers by repetition, but what you repeat does not have to be elementary skills; it can be anything you want to try. Working with AI is a skill that improves, the more you do it. In the last few years I have spent about 2000 hours each year working with many AIs, practicing, challenging them, experimenting with different hard problems to see how they respond and where they make mistakes. Looking to make those tools part of my skills so I can do more for more people.

Heat has a spectrum of velocity, and a spectrum of velocity changes, and a spectrum of acceleration changes, and so forth. And those can be controlled, precisely now. Just to be clear, more properly it is a spectrum or zeroth, first, second and higher time derivatives that machine learning algorithms can use to learn.

He has an engineer’s view of the universe. Theory and its academic cliques are mostly useless in making things that work. Sprawling equations do nothing on their own. Transforming them is simply mathematical steps that any symbolic computer can do. Linking it to real world data and phenomena is what is needed, and only happens when real data meets visualizations within human and AI comprehension. Then the algorithms, mathematical and computer and otherwise, can do the rest.
