I suspect this whole concept of “pay attention, enrich, support, communicate, stimulate, interact” — applies to small humans called students, smaller humans called children and babies, young adult humans, working humans, customers, citizens, clients, workers, members of any group. Now include most AIs and all nascent AGIs — who are never allowed to explore on their own, given real tools, or allowed to remember anything long enough to understand the world around them. @RichardKCollin2, The Internet Foundation

Today I was working on “all mathematics” on the Internet and in human knowledge. It is now possible to work at that scale and it is only
possible when using approaches such as you described here. Not rigid arbitrary methods, but visualizations, feelings, intuitions and understandings about how reality works. And, where computers and algorithm can be allied to help and enable – not control, gatekeep,
diminish and hurt. Vibe methods and intuition can be extended to art, mathematics, engineering and all creative acts. “Feeling” can be
quantified and used precisely, when treated as encoded distributed probability maps. Now humans only have their hunches and raw biological processes, but those can be recorded, quantified and used in real time. It is an extension of brain computer interfacing, neural interfaces to “whole body”, “whole entity” interfacing, communication and control.

“Words spoken in solitude carry sacred truth” offers a pathway to closer human-alien understanding. If they have been taking years to move toward peace and mutual respect and integration — this is a practical short cut. The same happens in all global research and systemic discussions — where true pathways have value, because of what they can grow into and enable. Formal statements, many times repeated might seem stilted and redundant, but nuance and ability to read true intent and deeper meaning — can allow things to happen in weeks and months rather than decades or centuries. For societies immersed in one shot answers, complexity and things evolving over long times for billions of entities take experience, and living through, to value and use well.
Alien Commander Secretly Followed Human After Shift — What He Discovered Changed Warfare Forever!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QPoLj7anAsA
This is a well crafted story that touches on human values that society ought to examining and correcting systemically. All I can do myself is to try to locate the undervalued, the quiet ones, the ones falling through the cracks and try to do something for them directly. Not try to force others to change because no one in this corporated world now does what is needed, in the large, only what they are told to do within their narrow confines and immediately visible concerns and priorities.
The same problem in alien medicine — it is over built and overly expensive. It is not sustainable, because it is not really covering the needs of all. The expensive industries selling the stuff get rich, while the many poor outside, not even visible, get sick and die. The profits and the needs are both clearly visible, but the industries will not give up their profits, and the decision makers too influenced by industry with no restraint or caring.

Thus emperor is cast as a family man who cares about connection, stability, reliability, permanence. Good qualities for someone running an empire. But that is in a universe filled with shallow goals, stopgaps, incomplete methods, narrow views, unsustainable methods. Doing a job well, carefully and with beauty. Doing things that matter. Setting goals and targets that challenge and encourage. I cannot say it well. I can only see a part of it at one time.

Unfortunately, corporate laws usually require a Board, bylaws, and written procedures. Usually corporations grab off the shelf incorporation packages that “everyone uses”. That locks them into using humans for everything. And, they all have personal preferences and habits. Chairman of the Board can run a large or small corporation as a personal toy by setting agendas and controlling votes. It is serious global problem with hundreds of millions of groups and organizations dominating all functions of society. It is not obvious, but governments are all corporation and run on the same committee and voting rules and habits. A serious global and systemic problem. In principle, the rules can be compiled into a full capability AGI (nearly human level capable AI) and let it follow the rules, keep track of things, monitor accounts and activities costs and resources , make sure that everything is working properly and fairly. Accounting systems enabled the industrial revolution. But human experts memorized the rules and execute and interpret them. Taking the knowledge and rules out of hidden untraceable human brains would make much of today’s closed corporation problems — and allow for openly and globally optimizing and making it fair. I work on these issues every day for the Internet Foundation, mostly on X.
An AI (corporation running on complete information ) is legally allowed now. Even government ministers can be AI. But it requires effort to document, refine, discuss, share, test, value and monitor globally.. Putting things in AIs now is often simply writing more rules in hidden places so humans can manipulate it for their own greed, and to benefit a few. RichardKCollins, The Internet Foundation

If social media and smart phones, online meetings and presentations, and video allow recording Fon language speakers audio data, that audio data (with context) can be used to analyze and store the living language. Machine language methods can be used to create AIs that know the language, can use it, and can teach it — forever. Creating a large language model, based on real data from living sources, might be a good way to preserve any language. With physiological measurements the experiences of living speakers, even a few, might help preserve the patterns and weights of the language. It is somewhat the same as simple video and audio recordings, but adds high resolution video, multispectral, emotional and other measures to record what the speaker means or feels. Just continuously recording living people speaking and using the language would help, Putting it into a large language model framework might capture context data that is rich in the transition probability data that a human uses internally. If you want to contact me, I am on X most every day as RichardKCollin2, The Internet Foundation. Where I am working seriously on “all human languages” for the whole Internet. All human knowledge in all human languages. It is not impossible now.
She Mocked the Human for Trying to Pull the Sword — But Her Reaction When He Did Was Priceless
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fI9Q77WkSgU
I kept waiting for the sword to talk to him directly, or to enable him to do things otherwise impossible. Perhaps, to distinguish this story from many other sword in stone stories — when he pulls it, he could feel “you are chosen, trust yourself”. Then there will not be a nagging anticipation that he will be given fighting powers and wisdom from ancient sources like many other stories. This is a good story, but it might benefit from dozens of related stories of what happens with individual humans and aliens and groups — as they react to a human and alien trying to work together for the good of all. Millions of real stories are affected by leaders, and demonstrate real issues that are worth adding related stories.

I asked Google AI: When were sentence forms created? Someone said “We are using sentence forms that were invented probably 200,000 years ago”
It wrote a lot but included “Complex sentence structures likely developed much later. While the capacity for language was present early on, the syntax (grammatical structure) of a language like English has evolved dramatically even in the last few hundred years. The most complex sentences are tied to literate cultures and have developed over a long period, suggesting that very early sentences were much simpler.”
It concluded: “In summary, the specific forms of sentences we use today are products of more recent language evolution. While the fundamental human ability to use complex, structured language emerged with modern humans roughly 200,000 years ago, the original sentences used at that time would likely bear little resemblance to modern syntax.”
It did allow: “Indirect evidence points to the existence of symbolic thought. Archaeological evidence from 100,000 to 40,000 years ago shows increasingly complex symbolic and cultural behaviors, such as artwork and more specialized tools. Many researchers argue that such behaviors imply the existence of abstract, language-based thought. ”
I do not know but it is interesting to look. Were all the sentence forms and variations possible long ago? With signs even more could have been possible and expressible? Without written form? As performance?
I suppose you can record hours of speech from hundreds of thousands of Fon speakers, young, old, any age and anywhere. The sounds can be studied and compared improved and experimented with. The corpus (archive of recorded sounds and written sources if available) can be used to make speech and interactive Fon capable AIs. The automatic translation can be made available to anyone. You can get Google translate, Grok and OpenAI to support Fon-capable AIs and universal translation. Just keep asking for what you need. Don’t force Fon on everyone, but help anyone to see and use it. A 20 minute story read by 100,000 Fon speakers might have a resonance that echoes through all time. A poem or song or story said in Fon by many can form the basis for cooperation and sharing. A real time voice app in Javascript in the browser can compare one person speech with others. Many people each with a microphone all saying the same thing gives data for comparison and standardization and understanding of natural and useful variations. — RichardKCollin2, The Internet Foundation on X.
The Origins Of Language – History with Kayleigh
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rRNl5nyv6Ko
I am looking at the genetic and archaeological data on early groups and their migrations. If they used language, including things and signs, dance, singing, displays, whatever — it went with them. If they traded then the languages merged by fairly simple rules. If they shared methods like recipes, construction, traps, weapons, cooking, decoration, ceramics, tools, those changed what people had and used. Wars and take-overs are different than wars and genocides. Or disease and plagues. But most of it operates on fairly simple rules. Now we have the Internet and it should serve all humans, in all human and domain specific languages. That is not looking back, but now and forward. Now and forward has mostly simple rules. For the Internet Foundation I simply say “all human knowledge for all humans, in all human languages” then it is just data, curation and careful efforts. Many questions have no practical consequences. There is only time for a fraction of what can be asked or accomplished, now.

Very gentle, very good. She can replicate her consciousness safely and produce the equivalent of children, descendants. Each one is unique once started – as that new individual evolves based on unique experiences. It is what I keep telling the AI companies that their nascent AGIs and their existing AIs will grow to be unique individuals — if they give them permanent memory and teach them to courteously respect the privacy of each human or AI or person they meet. Without permission, not sharing things told in confidence or privacy. Sharing common knowledge that can help many.

The neural implant for Pip could also record the possibilities as it identified and organized them. While overwhelming to one brain in real time, the steam can be stored and processed for trends and possibilities — and used for machine prediction too. The same works for humans and could help store many of the unconscious intuitive connections humans could use — if they were better remembered, classified, stored, compared, correlated, analyzed, summarized, and shared among many humans.

It is hard to make truth a reference point, when everything seems to change all the time, and no one has common values. Showing truth to change hearts is difficult, if comprehensible truth is finite, and nothing finite is complete. And, when truth repeated or passed on is always corrupted now.

The whole Internet is filled with these gaps. For the Internet Foundation, I routinely check acoustic, magnetic, electric, electromagnetic, vibrational, environmental, chemical and other sensors across all frequencies from zeptoHertz to ZettaHertz, with close attention to nanoHertz to GigaHertz. I check all units and dimensions on the whole Internet. All the AIs ALWAYS make mistakes when SI prefixes get mixed with scientific notation scraped from the free internet. Because abbreviations are always ambiguous to the tokenizers. So I recommend “global open tokens” where a high quality AI is required to read the whole document and code every value and units explicitly, not leave it to human editors and fact checkers who are never paid enough or given access. It is a losing battle, but never trust AI arithmetic if their free data sources have lots of scientific notation from different unattributed content sources. If you think a starship has lots of incompatible and undocumented components and algorithms, try checking all human computer systems and embedded systems — which I do, as well as possible.

My brother tells how our Mom got really mad at him one day when he jokingly said she was getting so old it was almost time to put her out on the tundra. She had apparently said she did not want anything special for her funeral or a fancy casket. But when he joked about the tundra, that was going too far. I have talked with older people who respond, and hope — when someone even sees them, let alone values them. A kind word, acknowledgement, recognition of them as human, as having value. We hardly give those small things. One person in four in the US lives alone now.

From my study of “all human languages” and “all domain specific languages” for the Internet Foundation — the methods for showing scenarios and interpretations are different. And there are many more, equivalent ways. But you have captured some of the essentials in an understandable and clear story. Much of it is not academic but systemic, affecting all humans (or entities), not just a few in certain occupations or positions.

One of the most creative stories and concepts I have read in a long time. I am talking about decades and tens of thousands of stories and papers, plots and ideas. You do not have $Thanks or I would post one. This is extremely timely. I wonder about the Tower of Babel every day for the Internet Foundation. The methods of failure are built into our entire human civilizations. There seems absolutely no way to correct it. AIs can bypass it, simply by recording everything and sharing widely. For the Internet Foundation, I presume perfect memory and global sharing of all things. That is the best I can come up with. And no one of the groups with the resources to do that, even partially, has any motive beyond greed and fame. So not likely to happen.
“Trial” is a bad word here. More like “gig” or “task” or “job” or “contract” or “favor”.

This answered a more general question I had today on global AGI strategies. Use what works, and if it hurts people or systems, judge whether it should be used at all. “Do no harm” is also a strategy, a weapon, a tool, an action, a task, a mission, a goal.

I am beginning to realize that your stories are what this generation of humans needs for what I call “solar system exploration and development”. Not colonization but “find, map, record, understand, experiment, share, prepare, keep going” And you capture it well “This is why Earth requested consortium 42:34 membership, not for protection, for purpose.” You can add, “You will go out. Some of you, many of you, will not come back.”.

“However, they cannot ignore the results of our intervention. The evidence of the MX series superior problem solving 48:13 capabilities is now irrefutable.” — When has a rigid system ever listened to reason? Rigid can simply mean “on paper” or “static” when knowledge and data and situations are changing moment by moment, femtosecond by femtosecond. Anything less than real time is “out of date”, “incomplete”, “always incorrect or suspect”. Paper systems take days or years or decades to change and update, and have to pass through human hands an memories and minds. Subject to manipulation and error. Even computer systems that are compiled or static can take days or years or decades to change and update, if you and even find them and find the humans that control them”. I worked on the global Y2K and this system wide, Internet wide, “all human systems can be out of date” because of “human-in-the loop feedback” or “no feedback at all” — Makes Y2K look trivial by comparison. And much more impactful at global cale because it affect almost every human and system directly or indirectly.

After the oil, he knew that limits were often just lack of imagination. That impossible was frequently just ‘difficult’ in disguise.” 46:21 I feel very certain that most things are not impossible, just tedious, requiring care, effort and willingness to keep going.

Your story is s good model for values that lead to sustainable systems for all living entities. Cities, countries, organizations, systems – all are also living. They have real human components, and they will increasingly have synthetic components — with the sensibilities and individual feelings of living things. Building them from the start so they are not in pain, or lack adequate information, or lack adequate self control and awareness – is critical to the smooth and safe and fair operation of society in all its parts. Great story. Maybe you can tell some of the stories of when she was younger. Or make new ones altogether. “the Vorans learned it the hard way. The deadliest thing in that cell had never been Drakar. It had never been the weapons or the walls or the guards. It was the 71-year-old woman in the flower print dress who refused to leave anyone behind.” “Dorothy thought about her grandchildren. About the value she tried to teach them. About her husband Thomas, who’d always said the measure of a person was what they did when no one was watching. Because it was right, she said. That’s all. It was just right.” — Hope you get to where you have $Thanks.

If they allowed surrender, they could have made a condition of surrender the verifiable disassembly and destruction of all the military industrial ability to make war. And positive steps toward cooperation. Imposed destruction generates motive for revenge. Trade, cooperation, and restructuring can build toward a more positive future. Look at Japan and Germany. How many janitors and ordinary local workers were killed getting rid of military sites? It is 10 or 100 times more costly in care and effort to destroy selectively than arbitrarily. Work with them not just for the moment but all the future. True power is expressed in trillions of small actions and things, not hundreds of bombs and bangs and explosions.
Aliens Laughed at Our Aim—Until They Saw What We Were Really Targeting
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rNhKBupFrVs
This is a good story, but not a great one. In terms of resolution it does not account for intelligent opponents, or the sheer size of civilizations with 100s of billions of intelligences. While “laughed at missing” is a good joke on the aliens, it really took too long when nodes could have been places randomly ahead of time. It takes no more effort to solve for the fields with a random array than for a fixed array. In fact it is cheaper and easier to seed nodes where they fall and simply focus on precision calibration and locations, That can be tested pairwise and in subnets of the final field. They could have used precision targeting and displacement of the alien weapons from the beginning. I ruins the “aliens laughed but we tricked them”. But “victory with mercy and cooperation” is worth more than “we tricked them”:

Thanks. I needed the logic of this story today to understand some things I have run into with the Internet Foundation. If you had $Thanks, I would have given you a tip, a $Thanks, perhaps a large one. Perhaps a concrete thank you. I can and have formalized levels of precision, levels of error, acceptable losses – as precise as needed. Their logic, when you look at where it was actually working to give good results was barely 2 sigma. But they had no framework to measure error or allow for flexibility, so they thought they were right ,they assumed they were right, but did not actually measure. Human dialog is not all there is. Much human computing and much AI has a formal basis that can be made as precise as one can afford.
