@SETIInstitute Do you have your raw data archive in open format on the Internet? Not just your interpretation and software and methods. But the raw signals you felt would be worth listening to? I see some of your things on the Internet but where is the data stored? And do you have it in a global open format, accessible to the roughly 5.4 Billion humans using the Internet now?
If you read my posts you will see I say there are very likely many civilizations. If any natural species like ours reaches self sustaining systems, the whole is likely to have knowledge and growing skills that can last many millions of years, and sustain colonization of whole galaxies even well below the speed of light.
But now I am just focusing on parallel time series data from radio telescopes and detector arrays that can be useful for training future generations in mathematical statistics, modeling, simulations and forecasting.
Python is an empty exercise without substantial amounts of real data, whatever its purpose – as long as it roots, origins and processing are clear and understood.
I studied dynamic gravitational fields, and Joe Weber told me he meant to make communication systems, so if there are intelligent civilizations (organic and synthetic) they are more likely to use ultrahigh frequency 3D gravitational signals, than sloppy scattering electromagnetics.
