It is not complex, it simply requires detailed accounting and care over extended times. Many things are hard if you only treat them casually, but become simple when addressed with method, time, and sufficient resources.
 
If you do not spend sufficient time to make it open and understandable, then it stays complex, meaning your readers and community simply cannot use what you are trying to tell them.
