Great problem! These are the good problems, the ones that really stretch and teach you how to solve the whole process, not just one outcome branch. He is not talking about God or evolution designing things, he is talking about humans coming to understand and improve existing lifeforms. Whoever made them. We have life forms, including humans. Now what?
