Happy Researchers @hapyresearchers Unpopular opinion: Every year number of PhD admissions are increasing. But, the funny thing is academic positions to absorb these PhDs are comparatively reducing or kept vacant or given to someone who is close to 70 yrs.

You need to create entirely new fields, then no glass/class ceilings. It is easy to find where new fields are needed, look at the really hard problems that will take you a lifetime. It gives you challenge, freedom and a life time of opportunities.

70 is NOT old. Wait until your competitors are 300 to 500 years, or running continuously in simulations, or both.
