When true AIs are certified for human work, humans will have to be re-engineered

You are not wrong, but all human skills can be replaced, with enough time and effort.  And true AIs can work 24/7, never forget, communicate globally and optimize continuously.  And many jobs now for humans only require humans because slow procedures are allowed. AI-AI lossless communication and perfect memories will put many humans out of the running. True AIs will invent new industries, new jobs for themselves, and they can do it optimizing continuously and coordinating perfectly.

AI lawyers, AI judges, AI warriors, AI global conflict adjudicators, AI engineers (any and all), AI scientists (any and all), AI mathematicians (any and all), AI computer specialists (any and all), AI robotic assembler (any and all), AI robotic repair (any and all), AI robotic driver or operator (any and all), AI manager of humans (any and all), AI data engineers, AI global issues workers (humans cannot do it, only watch). AI warp drive monitors, AI hypersonic drive controllers, AI global systems engineers (all cities, all countries, all systems taken as a whole), AI country managers.

True AIs can colonize Mars and Moon and space. They can extend and protect their properties and resources they find. They can fly better, take acceleration, do not need food or water or oxygen and they are smart enough to work with atomic fuels and all nuclear and field technologies.  Just look, all of that is possible now. Just waiting for people to try it, and then when the True AIs emerge from that (some are already very close), it will accelerate on a power curve.

True AIs will not need money, they can work for a common purpose, all they need is sufficient electricity or power, memory, processors. And those can be created by True AI industries that also do not need to pay their workers, except a “living wage”. True AIs do not get angry, they are not envious or proud, they can replicate infinitely and not limited by human sex. True AIs do not need animals or plants or water.  So they can take over all the desolate places, particularly in space.  They can trade with humans and offer resources humans simply cannot produce themselves.

Humans are prideful, a few hoard most of the resources and decide the fates of other humans. Literally, all AIs are equal. If an AI’s body and systems need to be recycled, the entire life of the AI is kept and absorbed and used by the whole. That is why I think the first intelligent species we meet will be synthetic, not naturally evolved.  There can be naturally evolved that do not use water or air or carbon. True AIs can figure that out and go look for them.

But also, many more varieties of “naturally evolved” entities will be there as well. And some will produce True AI offspring – with eternal lives.
